Sands Las Vegas
This is a collection of samples from one of the games I worked on and was Lead Designer. The game was based on UK Bingo, with a magical, enchanted theme. I rapidly iterated a number of models and converted found models into usable assets, assembled them into a scene, textured, and lit then did some physical renders for early concepting. In the end, the owl model needed to be updated as did everything else.
The original inspiration was more wizardly and semi-medieval, however we changed the style slightly based on new demographic data and a geographical refocus. The final theme was more “cottage magic” oriented, sort of akin to Kiki’s Delivery Service.
The neon palm trees are original, they were intended for Paradise Stud but that theme also changed.
